Is There More to Good Health Than Breakfast?

Living a healthy lifestyle. What does this mean exactly? What this means to me may differ greatly from what it means to you. There is so much conflicting information available that one wonders how those not educated in the field can ever sort out what behavioral modifications to their manner of living will positively contribute toward a healthier life.

Take breakfast for instance. Don’t participate. You may view my manner of skipping breakfast darn right unhealthy. My annual medical check-ups demonstrate the contrary. Have you considered that taking the leap from skipping breakfast to conclusion of unhealthy manner of living just might be one of the key contributors to globesity (obesity epidemic.)

Isn’t there more to good health than just eating breakfast? Frankly if you are not hungry why are you eating? Because the breakfast cereal marketers tell you to. Holy smokes. Your body should be your director, and not a marketing blitz.

Good health is a result of your manner of living. Media marketing has one goal - $. Life is living day-to-day. If some manner of living is not working for you, stop doing it. Breakfast does not work for me and here is why ~ I AM NOT HUNGRY!!!!!

In my humble view there are three “equally important” basic aspects to life that contribute to a resulting healthy manner of living ~ food, fitness & fun. How these three pull together to result in a healthier existence for you will differ person to person. Nature has provided the resources and tools for self discovery. Time to listen.
