Marriage/Cohabitation: Age, Education, Income & Religious Affecting Woman’s Choices
The National Center of Health Statistics is a hot bed of statistical information in reference to relationships. Below is a tidbit of the statistical information pulled out of their Cohabitation, Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage in the United States pamphlet. Looks to me like a woman with a higher education who has never been married with some religious affiliation and at least 25 years of age would be a guy’s “best chance” choice for a lifetime partner.
Age
Guys if you are looking for a gal to move in with or marry your odds are greater if she is at least 25 years old. However, on the other side of things if she is 25 years old or older and her first marriage ends in divorce she is less likely to get involved in cohabitation or remarriage. Suspect you should be on the hunt for a first timer over 25 or a second timer under 25.
Education/Income
The higher the woman’s education and income the greater the probability that her first cohabitation will transition to marriage or the lower the likelihood of marriage or cohabitation debacle. Women with higher education and income are less likely to have been married for the first time before 18 years old.
Religion
Now if you want better odds with a successful cohabitation and marriage seems religious affiliation makes a difference, non religiously affiliated women are more likely to experience cohabitation or first time marriage disruption. However, these non-believers are also more likely to cohabit after the dissolution of first marriage.
